  A Brief Overview

  As a VP, Delivery Portfolio Manager in the Technical Delivery & Engineering Organization (TD&E) at World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT), you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex and transformational projects that generate over $300M in gross profit. You will need to build strong relationships both within and outside of WWT. The VP, Delivery Portfolio Manager will adopt, improve and apply industry best practices in processes, procedures and reporting to oversee and manage WWT's portfolio of projects. You will work with WWT teams, leaders, and customers to deliver the best business outcomes for our customers. This role will report to the Executive Vice President (EVP), Technical Delivery & Engineering (TD&E) and will coordinate across the sales, solution, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and collaboration to optimally deliver our portfolio of projects.

  Job Responsibilities

  Define and implement the portfolio management strategy, processes, and best practices, ensuring alignment with the organizational vision, mission, and goals. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, when required, to ensure a deep understanding of their needs, desired outcomes, and ensure customer satisfaction. Create and maintain relationships with SC&E and Sales to foster trust and suitable collaboration and agreement to manage customer expectations and communicate delivery issues effectively when necessary. Bring the best of WWT to address clients' most critical issues, ensuring their objectives are met with excellence. Ensure the successful delivery of projects by effectively managing scope, budget, schedule, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations. Communicate and report the portfolio status, progress, and outcomes to the senior management, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability. Implement best practices and methodologies to optimize project performance and outcomes. Lead and mentor a team of project managers, consultants, and technical experts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Collaborate closely with sales, solution, and delivery teams to ensure seamless alignment across the organization. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working with the sales and solution teams to generate proposals, bids, and contracts for the portfolio. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the delivery capabilities, processes, and methodologies, leveraging the lessons learned, best practices, and industry trends.

  Education Qualifications

  Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, Business, or Information TechnologyMaster's Degree Related Field preferred

  Work Experience

  A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a related field requiredMore than 10 years of experience in a leading consulting firm, overseeing and executing a range of large and complex technical projects for clients from different industries, technologies and regions.Demonstrated experience in handling an external client portfolio of complex and transformational projects that generate over $300M in gross profit.Outstanding leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with all levels of the organization.Experience in working and cooperating with both internal and external cross-functional teams.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Effective negotiation skills, especially in managing customer expectations, and setting priorities.Effective leadership skills with the ability to coach and grow high-performing teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools.Adopt and embrace the WWT culture and values.

  Licenses and Certifications

  Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through Project Management Institute (PMI) or Lean Six Sigma Certification through IASSC preferred
