Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a VGNA LV Manufacturing Finance Manager.

Position Overview
In this role, you will manage, direct, organize, and control the financial activities of the Mexico sites of
our division for our Light Vehicle business. This role will be responsible for providing
business leaders with overall counsel and financial guidance to deliver returns on sales and on
assets that outperform peers and markets expectations. This role will also lead high-priority projects
designed to maximize business-unit performances.

Essential Function
• You will serve as business partner for MX sites to the LV senior leadership team, providing
counsel and direction on every aspect of the business, ensuring timely communication and effective
decision-making process
• You will be responsible for driving major initiatives (including CAPEX) and influence changes
required for productivity improvements or growth in areas such as operational excellence,
continuous improvement, quality and supply chain management
• You will lead operations from finance standpoint, working with the ops. leader, with plant
managers and plant controllers to achieve solid P&L improvements and flex productivity targets and
to prioritize effectively capital spending projects
• You will work with quality team to ensure P&L targets through quality processes and CONC
improvements
• You will have the opportunity to identify innovative ways to improve processes and productivity
while developing new ways to understand business issues and trends and support with appropriate
analysis and coordinating effectiveness of major processes across multiple functions
• You will provide financial support to special projects on an as needed basis, driving long-term
impacts for the business
• You will lead the main financial processes for LV facilities: month-end close, forecast, annual
profit plan and strategic plan, driving accountability for results and defining key performance metrics
together with senior business leaders
• You will act as a coach to plant controllers, who will report dotted line to you (solid line to plant
managers) to strengthen their skills and supporting their career development
• You will join the finance transformation team, driving this business to the future structure of our
financial processes and teams' organization
• You will direct the selection, training and development of personnel to achieve Eaton's high
standards of performance, and assure the availability of promotable personnel

Qualifications:
Basic Qualification
Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role
Legally authorized to travel to the US
Preferred Qualification
MBA degree from an accredited institution.
CPA and/or CMA certification preferred
Previous Manager of People experience preferred
Position Criteria
Thorough knowledge and understanding of operations, as well as accounting principles and concepts.
Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operations analyses/reports.
Attitude to leading change and continuous improvements, challenging status-quo for long-term results.
Possess working knowledge of systems technologies.
Broad general product and business knowledge in order to adequately interpret operating results, studies, and analyses.
Pronouncements of external regulatory bodies, such as FASB, SEC, IRS, etc.
General knowledge of all functional areas of the Divisional and Corporate organizations.
An understanding of the tools currently available on the market which can improve efficiency in all areas of the organization. These include EBE, IT hardware and software; Total Quality
Management, Finance best practices, Balance Performance Scorecard, Materials Management
Techniques; Purchasing systems, manufacturing technology, etc.
Working knowledge and understanding of major components of Oracle Financial and manufacturing applications.
Working knowledge of sourcing and manufacturing practices followed by Operations personnel and the related myriad of software applications for the same
Understanding of Encore, Hyperion, and Oracle database financial applications, Oracle
manufacturing applications, and proprietary databases (Access, etc.) used to populate same and related linkages.
General understanding of procedures and familiarity of procedures followed by operations in make vs. buy analyses.
Understanding of procedures followed by Operations personnel related to manufacturing strategies, implications of outsourcing decisions on the Group's ability to produce products and the development of fact based decisions to improve the Group's profitability.
Frequent travel to North America sites (25% travel on average) to build relationships, monitor
progress against initiatives & business plans, and coach and develop site controllers.
