  Sam's Club has an opportunity for a Senior Buyer of Global Leverage to support our fast-paced, International Business. The Senior Buyer of Global Leverage will be responsible for supporting our General Merchandise business identifying categories and Items from our Sam's US assortment that can be relevant for our members in China, Mexico, or Brazil.

   You'll sweep us off our feet if:

  You are a self-starter who puts the Member in the center of your decisions and knows how to connect with people and lead changeYou are able to extract, analyze, and interpret data to drive your recommendations and decisions.You possess superior communication skills, flexibility, and ability to transfer knowledge about lean principles and problem-solving skills.You're organized, disciplined, and enjoy removing waste from processesYou're experienced with executing cross functional projects without direct authority over the teams involved.You have a background in Merchandising, Imports or Sourcing.You are bilingual (Mandarin or Spanish speaker)

   You'll make an impact by:

   Working cross-functionally and across multiple locations - Communication, collaboration, and organization are key to your success. Work with cross-functional teams across the world to increase our leverage as an enterprise. Managing Import processes - Work with the International Merchants, Suppliers, US Merchants, and Global Sourcing teams on the end to end process to leverage the cost, quality and supply chain efficiencies from Sam's US to our International businesses. Communicating Changes and progress - Create and consolidate progress by item to update the rest of the teams. Moving fast - Work in a high expectations team environment.
