　　What you're applying for

　　We're looking for a talented candidate who understands personal lines property & casualty insurance in Europe. In this role you'll be leading in defining and implementing a winning underwriting strategy for Lemonade in Europe.You know where to focus when managing risk and exposure and are comfortable balancing risk with building a delightful customer experience. If you're analytically minded, hands-on, and an ambitious self-starter, this one's for you! You'll be a central member of our Insurance team in Europe and work closely together with ourCustomer Experience, Claims, and Product teams. We'll look to you to own and enhance our European underwriting strategy and bring forward measures to improve the quality and performance of our book.

　　What you'll need

　　7+ years of underwriting experience in personal lines property, liability, or car insuranceDeep knowledge of risk management, underwriting guidelines, policy documents and compliance-related mattersTrack record of managing a profitable, growing book of businessExperience working collaboratively across teamsData-driven and tech savvy, with plenty of independence, drive, and optimismYou're an all-around team player who learns fast, is eager to solve problems, and loves getting shit done!
