The Treasury Management Officer (TMO) I is an entry point into field cash management sales. Generally focused on less complex cash management needs or Small Business customers, the TMO I will manage a portfolio and have a revenue generation goal. A TMO I may be developing product knowledge, sales skills and business acumen on a career path toward TMO II. A TMO I will learn to develop and execute a business plan, negotiate and manage the TD Treasury Management customer experience. Have desire to become a skilled communicator and presenter to confidently represent and participate in strategic setting on behalf of Treasury Management and TD Bank.
Job RequirementsBuild and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with the Relationship Managers and other channel sales partners Serve as the trusted advisor for clients with cash management needs to develop, manage and retain profitable customer relationships. Create and execute a sales and marketing strategy that achieves established market penetration, cross-sell, revenue and customer acquisition goals in partnership with Sales Leadership Expand and retain business customers by identifying needs and challenging customers with insights. Demonstrate ability to contribute to the prospecting effort and coordination of a deal team to pursue opportunities. Partner with Relationship Managers and Sales Leadership in performing strategic dialogs to turn prospects into clients. Lead or participate in relationship management by identifying customer needs, provide solutions, make in-person customer calls and advise Relationship Managers on fee revenue decisions in partnership with Sales Leadership. Manage portfolio to deepen existing relationships through proactive identification of solutions to meet customer needs. Partner with Relationship Manager and Sales Leadership in identifying opportunities for clients and prospects. Build and maintain strong networks with Centers of Influence (COI's). Collaborate with Relationship Managers on customer relationships to ensure unified approach to meeting customer Banking needs. Partner with Sales Associate to deliver comprehensive recommendations based on customer cash management needs, relationship reviews and leadership to provide an excellent customer experience. Ensure customers and internal partners are leveraging the proper cash management functions: Treasury Management Solutions, Service and Implementation and partner appropriately with Sales Associates. Advance the TD Treasury Management brand by using industry expertise, conducting in-market customer and prospect presentations, seminars, lunch & learns, etc. Record accurately sales activities such as pipeline opportunities, calls, and customer notes in Salesforce. Follow procedural guidelines to leverage Implementation team to ensuring superior on-boarding and excellent client experience. Accountable for document origination and execution for Master Cash Management Agreement, Product(s) and Customer Due Diligence. Developing subject matter expert on all Treasury Management. Represent the organization at various industry conferences, regional events, regional business meetings, in-market functions, and with regional centers of influence both internally and externally. Participate in Treasury Management and industry segment events Adhere to all Risk policies and procedures. Develop financial acumen and provide relationship revenue advice to Relationship Managers in partnership with Sales Leadership
Qualifications4-year degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of industry related experience required Demonstrates sales skills (e.g. closing, client retention) Demonstrates ability to interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner to provide exceptional customer service Demonstrates Interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully negotiate and persuade Demonstrates organizational and time management skills Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment Demonstrates PC skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
