MAI (Merchant Acquisition & Incubation) team, are a team of 25 TikTok Shop frontliners who primarily handle various aspects of a New Seller. We acquire them and Incubate them in order for them to eventually graduate to higher tiers within TTS. The outbound team also handles internal and external speaking and training events, and also helps sign new Partnerships with Government and other related corporations, in order to maintain a healthy revenue inflow and backbone for our MY operations. As for the Incubation portion, the team focus primarily on Education and Online Engagement. This includes online and offline training and Missions for our Mass pool of sellers on TTS in order to help them perform better, get more sales, and improve their video and Livestreaming capabilities. Last but not least, there is also a team who handles Special Projects, tasked with ensuring our TTS offerings remain relevant and competitive within the local E-Commerce landscape. In this role, you will monitor a team of 20 contractors in acquiring and incubating new sellers. You will also monitor core seller incubation graduation rate and work closely with strategy team to allocate acquisition target.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor core seller acquisition progression, align with regional target, working closely with strategy team to allocate the core seller acquisition target by cluster
- Monitor core seller incubation graduation rate, working closely with all cluster team to align on the graduation rate expectation every quarter
- Managing a team of 20 contractors including their day to day reporting, performance tracking, assigning tasks and HC cost application for each contractor
- Propose and manage online acquisition team growth direction and strategy to ensure the team performance is on track
- Support cross-functional team with their enquiries on new seller, for example category targeted acquisition project, online webinar training, seller meeting support, P0 category growth plan and so on
- Hands on with seller acquisition and seller incubation, potentially managing up to 20 brand accounts for incubation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Proven experience with sales or quality related KPI, preferably in a leadership role
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Project management skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Have a certain understanding of social media, online marketing, livestream e-commerce
