How will you make an impact?
As a Technical Writer, this role will develop comprehensive and high-quality user documentation for analytical instrument software products. The role also requires collaborating with multiple teams to understand the documentation requirements and disseminate technical information in a clear and concise manner for a non-technical audience.
What will you do?
Develop topic-based software documentation for analytical instruments.Collaborate with subject-matter experts and technical staff to capture information and identify documentation needs.Participate in the peer review process to ensure the accuracy and quality of the documentation.Follow established style guides and maintain consistency in writing style and formatting.Create visual elements, such as illustrations, animations, or videos, for technical documentation.

Qualifications:
Education in science or in a related field, such as Chemistry or Biochemistry, or suitable experience in those fields2 to 5 years of technical writing experience or equivalent experienceProficiency in authoring tools and content management systemsFamiliarity with graphics tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and SnagItMust be highly organized and pay attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Darwin Information Type Architecture (DITA) and modern content management systemsExperience of or knowledge in chromatography and mass spectrometryExperience with video production tools such as Captivate, Storyline, or CamtasiaUnderstanding of SDLC and software development practices (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
