　　Role Objective

　　TE Application Tooling, Bangalore, is currently seeking a professional technical writer.

　　who will be responsible for developing the technical documentation for AT machines and will report to the supervisor of the AT Digital Engineering team in Bangalore. This role requires experience in technical writing, technical illustrations, and good collaboration skills to support TE Product Engineers, Product Managers, and Sales team of the AT BU in both the US and Germany by providing best-in-class engineering solutions for our customers, including high-quality technical documentation.

　　The successful applicant will be responsible for creating and reviewing technical documentation such as installation instructions, Customer manuals, data sheets, material specifications etc....,The technical writer will also be responsible for tracking revisions, editing, maintaining, and publishing technical documentation through product data management applications.

　　Responsibilities

　　Creating the product installation instructions for new productsWorking on the updates and revisions of the technical product documentationAssist global engineering team in developing customized documents according to customer requestsCreating the technical illustrations and customer specific drawingsWorking and delivering the assignments as per the priorities and agreed timelinesWorking with technical staff, PM, and SalesPublishing PIIs (product installation instructions) and working with documentation management tool (Windchill)Working in a collaborative team in developing of database for technical documentation, terminology, and product pictures for easy access and high reuseSupport the engineering team in developing 'online documentation' as well as 'mobile documentation'

　　Education/Skills

　　B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical engineering.Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience working in a technical writing position.Experience in creating technical illustrations using 3D CAD data (Creo Illustrate)Experience in product data management environment (Windchill)Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Creo Illustrate, Acrobat and MS Office, other DTP tools an advantage.Good Knowledge and hands on experience in PDM windchill.Proficient in MS Office power automateFully proficient in English skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
