Position Overview
In this Technical Sales role, you will work with and inspire our strategic Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) and Manufacturing customers helping them realize their full potential. Partnering with the Sales Executive, our Customer Success and Premium Support organization, you will focus on driving expansion and building long-term partnerships by gaining a clear understanding of our customer's challenges and translating these into technical solutions that deliver tangible results.
This position is full-time remote and will report to the Manager of Technical Solutions, Named Accounts.
Resposabilities
Develop trustful relationships through experience in understanding specific customer processes and mapping technical solutions to customer needs.Be the customer's primary Autodesk technical contact for discussion and exploration related to new technologiesManage technical discovery to help uncover projects and use this information to help connect with Autodesk solutions to deliver valueProvide guidance in creating requirements definitions, scope documents, user needs studies, process, and project assessments for sales opportunities to help make business cases and improve return on investmentProvide insight and guidance to Customers by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of process processes, technology trends within the AEC industryMaintain trusted working relationships with the Autodesk extended teams (sales, customer success organisation, global technical sales, marketing, product team)Share best practices, competitive information, innovation, and expertise within the sales organisation, product divisions, and technical sales organisation locally and globally
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of industry or related experienceDegree, education or equivalent work experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (preferably) or Manufacturing industries or Data and Platform solutions.Fluent French (mandatory) English, other language a plusIdeally knowledge of the Autodesk solution portfolioSolution and outcome focused approach to solving customer challengesExperience in or interest in sales-supporting function (e.g., presales)Excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus buildingStrong teamwork / relationship management skillsWorks independently and can manage multiple prioritiesAbility to travel up to 30% within the EMEA region
