This role is focused on providing in-depth product ownership to the UK business, and strategic leadership in selecting and managing our technical solutions. The role will identify opportunities for business growth.
This role is a 6 month fixed term contract focused on supporting the Technical Product team in their day-to-day tasks and project work, from onboarding new products and technical solutions as required by the business, maintaining, optimising, and enhancing our tech stack as well as being a technical expert for all platforms used across commercial, consumer, editorial and digital teams. The role will proactively engage with stakeholders to interpret business requirements, provide ad hoc troubleshooting and training to ensure end users can utilise platforms and technical solutions effectively and efficiently. Reporting into the Data & Technology Director of Operations & Delivery the role will require the successful candidate to support on the delivery of initiatives whilst producing documentation and communications to explain technical concepts and new solutions. You will take a lead on testing and quality assurance to ensure our solutions are fit for purpose.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The ideal candidate should be able to work self-sufficiently and be able to contribute to the wider Data and Technology team. The candidate will have experience working in a similar role within Adtech or Martech and have knowledge of the interaction between channels. Knowledge of HTML/JS/CSS, tag management platforms (ideally Ensighten), Google Analytics and strong technical troubleshooting skills are a must for this role. The candidate should be able to hit the ground running providing ideas and solutions to our internal colleagues. QA experience and a willingness to test and iterate is a key requirement of the role.
