If staff need to go into the office to collaborate, the space is there, and if they have a day where they need to focus alone, then staying home works just fine, too.Your role.Your work will include, but not be limited to:Supervise engagements and assume full responsibility for tax compliancePrepare and/or review tax returns for C-corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships and individuals for accuracy and identification of tax savings opportunities and tax exposuresDevelop, coordinate, and supervise projects of tax staff and internsBuild and maintain client relationships and proactively interact to gather information, resolve tax-related issues, and make recommendations for business and process improvementsWork with commercial clients in a wide variety of industries including large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clientsDevelop and execute a practice development plan which includes networking, new client development, and client expansion activities (Manager level)The qualifications.5-9 years recent tax experience in public accountingCPA or Bar License requiredExperience supervising and mentoring staff on engagementsExperience in manufacturing, distribution, or service industries is helpful, but not requiredQualified individuals must either reside in or near Columbus, Ohio or be willing to relocate to one of these areas for this opportunity.
