This role will provide management and leadership of support to the project offices within the EHP at Johnson Space Center. The primary functions of the role require both managerial and leadership skills, as well as technical knowledge.
This role is based at the Johnson Space Center and will have a hybrid work arrangement.
What You'll Be DoingManage Aerospace support to the EHP project offices: EVA Development, Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV), and Pressurized Rover (PR).Staff, coordinate, and supervise a high performing SE&I and project management team of Aerospace technical personnel integrating complex human-rated systems; includes end-to-end procurement support.Assist NASA in managing and coordinating the xEVAS Contract and the broader xEVA System.Provide technical and programmatic coordination across multiple organizations, including both customer and contract personnel.Manage the Aerospace NSEETS task order for each EHP project.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customer leadership.Develop organizational goals, staffing plans, budget planning, and allocation of resources.Conduct staff performance evaluations and recommend performance improvement and career development.Hire and inspire a diverse staff of outstanding HESF employees Connects goals to work objectivesStrategic partnership with people operations, finance and EISTrusts, empowers and effectively delegates to team membersWhat You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:A bachelor's degree in engineering/science with a minimum of 15 years of progressively more responsible experienceExperience in systems engineering and integration of complex human-rated systems.Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on human spacecraft systemsPivots with agility when circumstances changeHolds self and team accountable for results and demonstrating Leadership Competency Model behaviorsEffective interpersonal skillsProven leadership experienceWillingness to travel occasionallyHow You Can Stand Out
