We are seeking to recruit the role of Systems Administrator for the BT contract based at the Midway Site, in Milton Keynes. Reporting directly to the Systems Supervisor, the successful candidate will provide IT Systems Administration support to the operation . You will be working Monday to Friday on a 08:00 - 16:00 shift, however; a degree of flexibility may be required from time to time in order to meet the needs of the business.

What you'll do on a typical day: Provide systems administration support for special projects as delegated by the System Supervisor Operate and interrogate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) - JDA Dispatcher DLx version 7.1 onward, including DLx 2019 SQL Database query reporting Act as a Liaison between 3rd party suppliers and the wider GXO Business, ensuring issues and escalations are raised in an effective and timely manner Administration support for high level operational and system projects for both in house and customer driven system initiatives. Previous systems administration and project support experience gained in a warehouse environment SQL Query and report writing skills advantageous, but training will be provided Understanding of Inventory management processes. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
