The National Security Space Enterprise (NSSE) is comprised of several widely recognized space acquisition and operations organizations, including Space Systems Command (SSC), National Reconnaissance Office, Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office, Space Rapid Capabilities Office, and Space Development Agency. The Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO) within SSC serves as a nexus for the integration of space architectures, enterprise capabilities, and acquisition alignments across the NSSE, with the goal of obtaining a space enterprise that can effectively support the joint force.
Aerospace is seeking an innovative, experienced leader to address enterprise integration and planning challenges in support of space and ground data transport engineering and other efforts within SSIO. Working side-by-side with government counterparts and other FFRDC personnel, this position will directly tackle some of the most urgent capability integration and enterprise planning challenges facing the USSF. Key responsibilities will be leadership of as well as facilitating Aerospace reach-back for: a) enterprise integration and planning and b) mission thread decomposition and related analysis. This position will work across technical areas, external organizations, and security boundaries to facilitate collaboration with senior leaders as a means of delivering space enterprise capabilities.

What You'll Be DoingLead the integration of complex, system of systems and informing planning for the future space enterprisePilot a team performing the tactical planning, capability development, and integration of data connectivity and networking aspects for complex, system of systemsApply knowledge of space communications, networking, and information mobility to Force Design attainment and mission thread decompositionEnsure that space systems across the enterprise will achieve end-to-end effects in multiple theaters through assessments applying the dynamic targeting cycleWork across program and collaborator boundaries to champion enterprise perspectives into Aerospace assessments, develop recommendations, and create executable plans that inform customer decisionsConduct technical analysis, develop technical assessments, and leverage Aerospace ETG resources to augment technical productsWork closely and optimally with government, Aerospace, other FFRDC and contractor support personnelWhat You Need to Be Successful - Project Leader
