Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Hardware Team within the Engineering Team of our Operations Section supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) Range Modernization Task Order (NCRC-RM).
This facility supports the modernization of Test Resource Management Center's (TRMC) delivery of realistic cybersecurity environments for test and evaluation of major DoD acquisition programs and enabling realistic cyber operations training and certification events for the DoD Cyber Mission Force. The NCRC facility may also support non-DoD customers such as Department of Homeland Security (DHS), industry, academia and international partners.
The successful candidate will work onsite at the Orlando, Florida Range Modernization site.
This critical position supports the Hardware Team reporting to the Systems Engineer who has oversight of the Hardware Team supporting the Engineering Team of the NCRC-RM site. The candidate is responsible for technical leadership of day-to-day hardware tailoring and configuration efforts for all facets of the NCRC RM. Supports planning and coordination of all custom hardware tailoring and configuration efforts and has ultimate responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of tailored hardware products. Works closely with the System Architect to design, build, test, and maintain the hardware components of architectures in a cost effective, reliable, scalable, evolvable, and maintainable manner. Synthesizes site event requirements into a comprehensive Event Baseline that is agile yet reliable. Supports design reviews.
Applies hardware engineering methodologies and software development technologies across the system lifecycle. Continuously looks for opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of software development and deployment processes. Maintains knowledge of current and emerging programming and design methodologies.
Specific tasks include developing, updating, and augmenting Model Based Systems Engineering artifacts; digital twinning efforts; and reverse engineering functions.
This position supports the program and all other duties as assigned.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81500 - $138600
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
