  Frito-Lay is PepsiCo's snack manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit. They have the world's largest portfolio of billion-dollar foods and are specifically responsible for the growth of some of America's favorite snack foods, including Fritos®, Lay's®, Doritos®, Cheetos®, and Tostitos®.

  The Supply Chain Leader (SCL) Designate program is designed as a leadership journey like no other. We are seeking innovative, strategic leaders who can drive a next generation supply chain with manufacturing, packaging and/or logistics experience. You will receive a customized on-boarding plan to assimilate and develop the necessary skillset in preparation for an accelerated career path as a PepsiCo Leader.

  This world class onboarding program provides the tools to become a successful Supply Chain Leader (SCL). SCLs hold a key role in our organization and are responsible for leading our people to positively impact the overall department. SCLs lead our frontline in Maintenance, Receiving, Processing, Packaging, and Warehouse departments.

  We want experienced leaders who can grow our pipeline for various positions and are committed to elevating the Frito Lay supply chain. She or he is responsible for people and team development, motivating the team and ensuring quality performance. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across all shifts. Responsibilities include achieving site performance for uptime, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, and building/grounds maintenance. This role will also coach team members to utilize the processes and facilitate problem solving on the floor.

  Responsibilities

  Identify and coordinate improvements in the operations area necessary to meet the variance commitments for the plant and cost objectives. Ensure that cost gaps are identified, action plans developed, and adequate resources allocated to meet all financial objectivesAchieve all productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety & motivation Key Performance Indicators objectivesProvide a work environment which adheres to all compliance and regulatory guidelinesEvaluate business unit capabilities, skills, and resource alignment to ensure performance against objectives. Lead realignment and work redesign efforts as necessary to provide executional excellenceFoster an environment of continuous improvement that meets or exceeds division expectationsEstablish clear performance and behavioral expectations for all employeesMaintain an effective performance management process reviewing all direct reports' progress against mid-year and annual plans and continually develop their effectiveness as leaders and technical practitioners, as well as providing opportunity for career developmentDevelop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goalsDeliver effective change leadership, driving business changes while minimizing people impactCommunicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issuesBuilds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly and salaried personnelMotivate team members to achieve plan goalsLead the identification and elimination of losses resulting in improvements in costs, inventory, time and qualityProvide active and positive leadership in the effort to drive the cultural across the facilityAdminister policies and proceduresRegular and predictable attendance at the work siteThis role requires regular presence on the plant floorThis role may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionallyThis role may require off-shift and weekend work

  Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $67,800 - $113,550

  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary

  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually

  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

  Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field) or equivalent experience requiredLean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project2+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations requiredAbility to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneouslyAbility to interface effectively with plant personnel, outside contractors and different functional groups within the business unitsDemonstrated leadership in safety & environmental complianceStrong innovative external focus with proven ability to affect sustainable changeMust be very effective working in a volatile and complex environment and work with a sense of urgency that drives effective resultsStrong influence management and communication skills, ability to gain organizational buy-inHigh levels of analytical and financial skills, ability to use data to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and accurately assess financial impactsAbility to communicate and influence at all levels of an organizationProficient in Microsoft Suite applicationsAbility to lead a team-based approach to decision makingDemonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environmentYou are a motivator and coach - you are skilled in performance management and developmentYou love to win and get results with your teamEffective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skillsCovid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
