Job Description Summary
Supplier Quality Manager - MSD&BoP AMERICAS (SQM MSD&BoP AMERICAS) will be leading the team of SQEs responsible for developing the quality of suppliers in AMERICAS region delivering Material Shipped Directly (MSD) and Balance of Plant (BoP) equipment to Gas Power project sites globally. The role will work in full alignment and close collaboration with internal stakeholder functions including but not limited to sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, and project management to assure project execution excellence.
The scope of activities includes supplier product qualification, audit, surveillance, and quality issues' resolution and root cause investigation. The objective is to assure delivery to customer project sites on time, on budget, meeting customer quality expectations and Gas Power SQ KPI targets.

Roles and Responsibilities
Manage team of Supplier Quality Engineers to drive quality, delivery, and compliance excellence within the MSD&BoP supply base for Gas Power in AMERICAS region.Drive systematic improvements to meet CoPQ targets, on-time delivery, first-time-right product quality, Cost Out/Savings, customer event and escape reduction, and other SQ KPIsMentor, coach and motivate the team, developing a strong leadership pipeline based on integrity and complianceDrive strong EHS, Compliance, Quality and Lean culture throughout the supply base and within the teamBuild an inclusive culture by focusing on safety and quality and aligning with the GE Leadership Behaviors, ensuring effective cross-functional communication and engagement with team members to ensure understanding and alignment with operational goalsAlign with Supply Chain Quality and Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Leaders in the MSD&BoP scope in AMERICAS region in identifying and leading supplier quality development programs to continuously improve supplier performanceExecute global Sourcing and Quality strategies, managing complex relationships between numerous stakeholders in numerous countriesDevelop and execute qualification, development, and surveillance audits.Drive compliance to the management system procedures for supplier approval and product qualificationSupervise detailed Root Cause Analysis when issues arise, assure effective problem solving and drive preventative actions that ensure issues do not reoccurAssure correct preparation of PSR and SR cases to allow for effective vendor recovery activitiesManage budgets effectively for people and projects, optimizing resources, and minimizing costsAs needed, deputize individual SQEs in following activities, among others:Develop and monitor SQ on assigned equipment/product from supplier qualification phase to final inspections to verify compliance with technical and quality requirements before shipment releaseNew Supplier Evaluation / Onboarding: rigorously execute the supplier evaluation process, including quality & compliance audits to ensure that only appropriately qualified suppliers are taken through the process. Work with sourcing/commodity team to meet business objectives of new supplier addition and provide input to technical tender analysisLead Supplier Qualification in partnership with Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Engineering and Project QualityPrepare Supplier Quality Documents for project such Quality Control Plan (QCP), ITPL (Inspection Testing Plan) Product Testing procedurePerform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and PSI (Pre-Shipment Inspection)Organizing/performing inspections at suppliers and ensuring the product quality complianceDevelop and execute surveillance audit plans to assure that suppliers have effective process control, rigorous product acceptance standards, and robust quality systemsOwn SRG (Safety/Health/Environment Supplier Responsibility Guidelines) metrics for assigned suppliers and conduct SRG audits in AMERICAS regionManage Supplier Deviation Request (SDR), Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for nonconformities caused by suppliers and lead resolution of complex, cross-functional quality issues for severe NCR/RCAReview and approve supplier End of Manufacturing Reports and give release for shipment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or Quality Engineering or equivalent technical field from an accredited university or college10+ years of experience in quality, operations/supply chain or project management5+ year experience in Power industry, preferably in MSD and/or BoP product scope, with proficiency to understand technical drawings, specifications, and standardsAbility to travel domestically and internationally at short notice up to 25%Fluent in English language

The base pay range for this position is 117,500 - 175,000 USD Annual The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% Annual Performance Bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
