Supervisor - Eligibility and Enrollment
Location: Hybrid, must live in the Cincinnati, OH areaSchedule: Varies, Generally Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pmGENERAL SUMMARY:The Eligibility Supervisor is responsible to assist the Department Manager in overseeing the employees who are either on-site in a hospital or within an office. This individual will assist the Department Manager with other duties such as evaluating the progress of the staff, maintaining employee records, quality assurance, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead, supervise and develop departmental teamsOversee and direct the daily activities of the staffCoordinate account inventories and report daily/weekly to the Department ManagerPrepare and conduct staff trainingMaintain time and attendance records for staffProblem solve operational issuesConduct performance reviewsAssist with hiringDelegation and inspection of workflowsAdditional Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate and/or assume responsibilities for employees during absenteeism, heavy workloads, etc.Coordinate overtime with the Department Manager to accommodate workloadsMeet goals and objectives as assigned by managementReport and document employee disciplinary problems to the Department ManagerAssist with other projects as assigned by managementEducational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is requiredEligibility Supervisor experience is helpfulExperience with Medicaid processes is requiredAbility to effectively work and communicate with coworkers, staff and clientsAbility to present oneself in a professional and courteous manner at all timesWorking knowledge of Personal ComputersDemonstrate initiative and creativity in fulfilling job responsibilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy work environmentMust demonstrate strong leadership abilitiesWorking Conditions:Call center environment, or HospitalWorking extended hours may be required as neededTravel may be necessaryWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
