The CMC Product and Development Lab sub-section manager will be responsible for leading the CMC Product Development Lab operations, including specialist and technician personnel. This role demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for safety, quality and delivery of products from the CMC development labPartner with Design, EMS and Supply Chain to facilitate prototype process development for CMC Components, including NPI projects, Edisonworks commercialization projects, and other process development associated with existing CMC products for LEAP, GE9X, and beyondDefine standard work and enable project plans to apply next generation material systems and processes, such as high temperature CMC, to components to demonstrate feasibilityAnticipate, mitigate and correct processing challengesManage a small to medium team of professionals (from OTHSAL to Senior Professional). Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology and/or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer ScienceAt least 5 additional years of experience in a program or project leadership role within an engineering environment
