  In the Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions (PS) business area we design and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. Within this setting, our Operations employees turn innovative engineering designs into real solutions to meet our customers' needs. The successful candidate will support the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) Production Program located at our Hudson, New Hampshire location.

  In this role you will:Manage the execution of subcontracts for materials, equipment, supplies and services of a highly-specialized and complex nature through all phases of the program lifecycle.Evaluate, negotiate, and manage assigned subcontracts to perform to each project's specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements to include the timely delivery of all deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract.Author, manage and influence critical path releases of Statements of Works (SOWs) and plans to align with required schedules and subcontractor lead timesDeliver quality customer service to both internal and external customers and foster and maintain good supplier relationships, while driving a Zero Defect mindset with suppliers.Participate in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company, as it pertains to the planned outsourced portion of the project(s).

  Who you are:Ability to work independently, as well as manage cross functional program teams on all subcontract related issues; multi-tasking is crucial for success.Must be able to assess, prioritize, drive issues to closure and be assertive when required.Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.Exhibits best practice work habits and collaborates with other subcontract team members to promote operational excellence and completeness.Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety, corporate responsibility, and security.

  Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  Ability to travel approximately 25% of the timeBachelor's degree in a related field of studyExperience in Subcontract Management, Project Management or Program ManagementStrong demonstrated negotiation skills and strategies.Experience in new business capture to include proposals.Experience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives.Successful, proven record of leading and managing multi-discipline project teamsStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levelsAbility to develop plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resourcesExperience with scope management and cost estimating, including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes.Ability to communicate with senior management regarding subcontract performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to financial objectivesExperience communicating externally either with customers or suppliersTechnical and business acumenControl Account Management (CAM) experience (at minimum, CAM trained)

  Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or OperationsMaster's Degree in Engineering and/or Business AdministrationPrior experience as a project managerExperience leading cross-functional teams Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)Program Management Institute's (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certificationDemonstrated Risk Management experience Experience with information systems such as OracleKnowledge of acquisition policies and procedures with associated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)Significant experience managing the development and compliance of requirements (SOWs, specifications, contractual terms, etc.)Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously

  Pay Information

  Full-Time Salary Range: $122870 - $208890

  Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
