WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Job Description:
The Structured/Project Finance Underwriter & Portfolio Manager - Vice President will be responsible for underwriting new transactions and monitoring a portfolio of loans within Structured Finance business lines, which include Project Finance and Fund Finance.
Responsibilities:
Underwrite new transactions in a timely manner.Analyze third party reports and external financial models.Review financial models and projections.Prepare loan approval packages for credit committee highlighting key credit aspects of the transaction.Monitor a portfolio of transaction and recommend changes to internal ratings based on changes in borrower's credit quality.Review reports from the borrowers.Perform reviews on borrowers, which includes analyzing performance, projecting financial metrics, updating ratings, and preparing credit review packages.Provide portfolio management support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Management, Economics or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience.Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or a related field, MBA, or CFA Charterholder a plus/preferred.At least 6-9+ years of related experience that includes underwriting across various asset classes in various markets.Understanding of the key risk characteristics of the each product.Strong analytical and presentation skills.Ability to work well with others and on teams.Good business judgement and sound credit skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize activities, and meet deadlines while working in a fast paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions
Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base annual salary range for this position is $126,000-$165,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
