Responsibilities of the Structural Engineering Technician will be to modify structural engineering aspects of the Metal Buildings Software (MBS) that is used by engineers for the design of Metal Buildings. As a Structural Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable and efficient structural designs produced by the Metal Building Software (MBS):
Ownership and accountability in a highly collaborative environment that values stakeholders and business outcomes.
Participation in team meetings, code reviews, and pair programming to continually improve quality in artifacts and team deliverables.
Drive the scope, development, and implementation of value-added new and or enhanced products, processes, and tools .
Produce the highest level of quality documentation that implements value by actively participating in document reviews, testing, tools, and processes guidelines.
Position requires occasional travel for up to a week at a time.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering.
Position requires availability to travel occasionally for up to one week.
One year experience in Structural Design or Detailing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps Server/Services or Git/GitHub
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Experience in customizing Metal Building Software (MBS)
Experience working across teams and or departments
Experience working within agile development principles
