Overview
Global Business Services (GBS) organization has been established to provide efficient and effective services to PepsiCo businesses globally, for all sectors. To enable transformation across PEP and GBS, GBS is standing up Consulting Design project engagement teams to create the future state for Design capability within GBS across people, process, and technology.
This role will manage a Design consulting team to scope and deliver Design phase engagements, work with senior stakeholders in various sectors and functions, and integrate other enabling workstreams including Functional Transformation teams, Enterprise Service Management, Transitions, HR, IT, Finance, among others.
Responsibilities
Engage with Senior Stakeholders in advance of Design Phase, to ensure GBS vision and strategy is well understood, and all key stakeholders are aligned and supportive.Support and drive Sector/Function Design team with step by step Design approach, guidance ensuring standard global approach is followed with all necessary decision gates and milestones followed.Develop and drive for implementation the holistic Design projects and service delivery concept of operations and integrated initiative specific work plans, reflecting more granular dependencies, milestones, deliverables and deployments. Makes decisions to identify critical risks/issues and implement transformation plans that impact the overall timeline and economic delivery of the GBS transformation programLead and facilitate leadership engagement for a specific design workshops/ discussion for in-scope Sector (s) and Functions , and coordinate various workstreams to deliver results according to the plan.Lead creation of Design deliverables during Design engagement: Taxonomy, time allocation, busuness case etc., and ensure all Design outputs are aligned and delivered on time to respective senior stakeholders.Present and share Design status and output during the key reviewes with GBS Council as per the governance.Drive the design program agenda to ensure functional/sector teams are on track to deliver program timeline, expected benefits and intervene/escalate as necessary to address roadblocks. Apply the Design playbook principles and framework, while adjusting for scope (function/sector) nuances and approaches when appropriate. Provide necessary feedback to Playbooks owner to ensure methodology is up to date with programm development.
Qualifications
Prior Consulting experience or/and significant transformational project management experience in large scale global organizations with emphasis on service design/delivery is essentialExperience in industry best practice methodologies, including Agile and Lean Six SigmaExperience in broad transformational implementations or managing complex projects including global coordinationExpert communications, including in-person and virtual meeting facilitationProficient with MS Office - Sharepoint, TEAMS, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint in particular7-9 years of experience with strong consulting and project management backgroundAbility to influence cross functional teams and achieve cross divisional alignmentResults oriented, adept in conflict resolution, skilled at prioritization and change managementAble to work autonomously and be comfortable with ambiguity
