　　• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plan aligning with BU business growth and Corporate commodity policy

　　• Create and optimize Metal related supply base proactively

　　• Manage sourcing project plan to ensure project OTD to realize saving target and materials supply.

　　• Plan, organize and control sourcing activities for materials cost reduction.

　　• Secure and analyze quotations; negotiate prices & terms with suppliers

　　• Initiate strategy purchasing proposal for various market condition.

　　• Purchasing contract management

　　• Manage & develop supplier performance

　　• Support new products launch, product improvement and change and product rationalization.

　　• Support other functions to solve suppliers, materials supply and quality issues to ensure materials supply

　　• Understand TS16949 and VDA6.3

　　• Work out commodity sourcing strategy to align with BU business requirement & Corporate policy

　　• Sourcing, survey and develop supplier based for Metal parts to satisfy TE's new business

　　• Drive Supplier Base improvement and optimization with Metal location

　　• Work with new parts RFQ, sample preparing, Feasibility Study sign and supplier selection for new projects developing

　　• Negotiate with supplier for the commercial conditions, price, incoterms, lead-time , MOQ, payment term, VMI etc

　　• Sign the contract with suppliers including purchasing agreement, quality agreement, NDA etc

　　• Responsible to track Supplier Performance and improvement. Audit key suppliers with SQE regularly

　　• Work with Engineering, Project, Process, Quality and Logistics department to implement the technical saving and product localization

　　• Aware IATF16949/VDA6.3 and familiar with the PPAP procedure.

　　• Support logistic department to pull in the material or postpone the delivery schedule.

　　• Understand RoHS, REACH in order to ensure that the function complies with corporate and department policies

　　Qualifications

　　教育背景 - Bachelor degree must, major in engineering is preferred

　　Qualification & Certification

　　资质证书 - CPSM or same lever certification is preferred

　　- Vehicle industry project management certification is preferred

　　Experience

　　工作经验 - Be familiar with Copper alloy material

　　- Above 5 years' with metal related material sourcing experience

　　- Connector industry background is prefered

　　EXPERIENCE

　　• College degree in economics, finance, statistics, business or comparable experience

　　• 4+ years of experience in pricing or equivalent type role

　　EDUCATION

　　• 4-year degree required

　　• MBA preferred
