Overview
Identifies sales opportunities, completes the sales process, and develops key relationships.
Responsibilities
Achieves assigned individual acquisition targets.Develops targeted client targets, and understanding what makes an client an ideal target.Hunting and securing relationships with new and non-referring firms.Develops strong relationships with dynamic list of identified companies. Initiates the sales process and carries it through to close.Identifies and conducts regular status and strategy meetings with prospects to understand their needs and link those needs to Paychex products and services.Drives acquisition revenue from CPA firms that are currently processing payroll, either independently or with an established competitor.Ensure internal partners (finance, risk, legal, operations, HR, etc) understand our new strategy, and our need for their support in making the strategy successful.Works with field leadership and marketing to develop programs and best practices.Coordinates field events with potential acquisitions to promote Paychex.Builds relationships with Accountants to increase referrals of new firms and create awareness and demand for additional products and servicesUnderstands, articulates, and communicates monthly initiatives and GTM strategy for assigned territoryExplore and expand understanding of all Accountant programs and resources (example - AHQ, AKC, CPE Seminars, Prescriptive, Persona)May be required to travel outside of geographical territory for purposes of attending Conference, training sessions and/or area Zone meetings.
Qualifications
H.S. DiplomaBachelor's Degree - Preferred2 years of sales/marketing experienceValid Drivers License required
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay for this position is $52,000 - $68,000. Please keep in mind that this is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
