Candidates who can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation, will be preferred for this Staff Accountant position. This role will involve internal reporting during the monthly close, participation in compliance, interaction with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and reviewing schedules reporting processes. Responsibilities
Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease
Partake in a variety of department-wide initiatives
Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management
Maintain fixed asset ledgers, depreciation, and reconciliation
Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision
Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation
Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner
Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations
Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation
Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000.

Requirements - BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
High attention to detail
3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Payroll experience highly desired
Deep understanding of general ledger
Microsoft Excel experience
Command of general ledger
Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation
Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
ERP system experience
