The Amazon Global Sourcing team is looking for driven individuals to help execute Amazon’s Softlines Private Brands’ global sourcing program. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will be responsible for executing and improving the best practices in Global Sourcing for Softlines. The Sr. Sourcing Manager role requires someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done. The talented individual will be able to manage the global sourcing process from A to Z including placement planning, vendor / item set-up and maintenance, product costs and vendor relations. The ability to work in a demanding but collegial, team-oriented environment is a must, and management experience is required. This role will include international travel.
The Sr. Sourcing Manager will be an integral part of our Softlines Private Brands Sourcing team, who will be instrumental in identifying diversification needs, single source and country sourcing percentage risk mitigation as well as optimization opportunities across category, vendor, portfolio, and product levels. The individual will work closely with the Sourcing and business teams to refine and finalize strategies for cost excellence and vendor negotiations. Will provide insights that are pivotal in shaping our sourcing direction while ensuring maximum impact and value. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will also serve as the SPB Point of Contact for Vendor negotiations and Cost Excellence initiatives in all forums. As an effective communication champion, this role will spearhead key and compelling launch emails, flash updates, reports, announcements, and newsletters. There will be a need to represent Amazon interests with suppliers and factories as well as be pragmatic about timeline requirements and conduct this in a way that earns trust with global stakeholders. Plays a critical role in partnering seamlessly with Data scientists, Business Intelligence Engineers (BIE) and Finance to architect an automated and simplified data structure. This framework will enable innovative dashboards/UIs for internal customer-facing applications. Innovates scalable solutions that enhance the productivity, efficiency and tangible outcomes across critical processes. Will assume ownership in contributing to our Amazon Private Brands Strategic pillars. Acts as the liaison connecting cross-functional teams, fostering a cohesive approach to achieving sourcing team’s objectives and goals.

Basic Qualifications
Attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Excellent written and verbal English.
Expert with respect to Softlines product management with a focus on product costs.
Proven ability in influencing cross-functional teams and project management.
Experience in organizing, analyzing and presenting data. Proficiency in data structuring and automation.
Demonstrated ability to stay up to date with market and product trend information for making cost and trend right products and support process and product innovation in the supply chain.
Experience in planning, negotiations, pricing, international logistics, importing are a plus.
Experience in managing external third parties.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a passport and VISA for travel essentials of the Job.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization for Softlines.
Capability to navigate through ambiguous situation and innovate new scalable processes for meeting all business needs.
Familiarity with PLM systems for product development updates and tracking.
Ability to evaluate factory WIPs, coordinate factory evaluations for quality and social responsibility & plan the necessary interventions.
Basic knowledge to manage all CAPs with factories around product inspections, testing and social responsibility.
