How will you make an impact?
As a Sr. Sales Development Representative, you will support the growth of the Electron Microscopy business within the Materials and Structural Analysis Division, by driving market share through lead generation and qualification. What you will do:
Become part of a multifaceted sales development team reporting directly to Director of Sales Development for Life Science EM.Work directly with specific Account managers to technically support and develop DualBeam FIB-SEMs, SEM and TEM sales in those territories.Provide technical/scientific support to accelerate Cryo Tomography, SEM and DualBeam opportunities.Engage with current customers on new and existing technologies.Prospect for new leads in new and/or existing accounts and market segments, including but not limited to cryo Tomography, Volume EM, cryo and room temperature.Qualify leads for handoff to account managers.Work closely with account managers to engage and advance opportunities.Perform monthly pipeline reviews with management and Account ManagersLead and drive specific campaign rollouts within the team.Coordinate and direct workshops and site visits targeting new customers as needed.Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy, and find opportunities for growing customer and business value through product positioning and differentiation.
How you will get here?
Education
Minimum education requirement is a Master's Degree in physical or life sciences, material sciences, or engineering; PhD Degree is preferred. A strong background in Structural Biology, protein science, or Biochemistry is required.
Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of Cryo-Electron Tomography/ DualBeam FIB-SEM experience (academic or industry).Sales development, particularly with capital equipment experience are highly desired.

Ability to generate pipeline and business opportunity leads.Ability to sell strategic and new products to existing and new customers.Ability to increase our market share by generating new business leads.Ability to nurture prospects through multiyear sales cycle.Ability to synthesize and integrate customer insights, draw conclusions/implications, and translate information into product requirements, portfolio strategies, and business recommendations.Experience using sales and prospecting tools.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills.Collaborate with, and establish positive relationships with,cross-functional matrix teams.Work remotely, to flexible patterns, and with the ability to travel up to 50%.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $102,000.00-$140,000.00.
