The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

We are seeking an experienced, self-starter and motivated Business Operations Program Manager to join AWS Kumo, the global tech organization for AWS Support, a multi-$B business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that improve operational efficiency and streamline processes within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
Key job responsibilities
Successful candidates will have experience managing programs across global organizations with numerous stakeholders up to VP level. You must have experience driving meaningful action, be data- and detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement programs that improve operational efficiency and streamline processes.
Collaborate with Finance, Recruiting and HR partner teams to develop solutions that meet Kumo's business objectives.
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in business processes.
Monitor program performance and measure the impact on business operations.
Identify and implement process optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Develop and maintain metrics and key performance indicators to track program progress and identify areas for improvement.
Manage program budgets, timelines and resources.
A day in the life
You will manage Kumo's business operations programs, processes and partnerships. This includes financial budgets, logistical planning, headcount management, recruiting, builder development, among others.
You'll work in Kumo's Chief of Staff organization and manage business partner relationships with AWS Support and Kumo finance, recruiting and HR teams. You will also work closely with Kumo's leadership team to ensure the smooth organization operation in these areas.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules
Experience in HR shared services, IT services, operations and/or compliance
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
