To enable the program to scale in a sustainable way, Amazon is seeking an exceptional Sr. Product Manager who will be part of a start-up group with the charter to grow and scale the Delivery Service Partner program globally in a sustainable manner by understanding the regulatory risks and mitigating those by continually evolving the program supporting Amazon's current and future last mile initiatives. Essentially the team's vision is to develop last mile delivery products that make Amazon the pioneers in the global logistics industry.Key job responsibilitiesThis Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for owning DSP risk management worldwide focusing on developing strategic and tactical levers that reduces the risk of the program. This is a new and a fast-growing space with loads of complexity due to the unique challenges and regulations in each country. This individual will work with cross functional teams to identify and score risks, develop solutions to mitigate the risks and lead the implementation in each country. The optimal fit for this role will be a candidate wanting to roll-up his or her sleeves, dive into a challenge, develop a solution and path forward by working with multiple stakeholders, and convince senior management that their solution is the best one. This will be a high visibility global role, meaning that the optimal candidate will be comfortable driving critical business decisions in fast paced, high pressure, and often ambiguous environment, and elevating critical one-way door decisions to senior leadership. A successful candidate will be customer focused, highly analytical, resourceful, a big thinker, a strong writer, and able to operate at all levels of the organization. Any background in logistics, last mile, supply chain and/or experience in risk management and product management will be considered a plus. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
