AWS Payments owns global customer financial experiences and payments management tools for one of the world's largest commerce platforms. Our services enable customers to add payment methods and set payment preferences, connect with payments partners around the globe, generate and send financial documents to customers, collect payments, and account for revenue. We process millions of invoices and financial documents every month representing billions of dollars of IT usage and spend. Intuitive customer experiences, data accuracy, and service availability are critical to our business.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical to join our team in Bangalore. This role requires ownership, customer obsession, and an ability to deliver results. We are looking to expand global payment acceptance and are looking for a product leader who can research customer needs and behavior, define a clear multi-year strategy, and drive that vision to launch. The role is inherently cross-functional: you will work closely with external partners, UX design, Legal, and AWS engineering to deliver products that enhance customer access to AWS through payments.
The key responsibilities for this position are to:
§ Drive payment acceptance across India
§ Create and deliver on a multi-year roadmap for India-specific payment methods and compliance initiatives
§ Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories
§ Support AWS payments and data compliance programs
§ Work closely with engineering and partner teams to deliver platform improvements that accelerate payments launches
§ Work closely with stakeholder teams in Accounting, Finance, and Amazon Consumer Payments to align on priorities and maintain momentum for projects
§ Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
