The Senior Product Manager, Neurology is responsible for Labcorp's portfolio of Neurology diagnostic tests. Disease area responsibilities include Alzheimer's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Autoimmune Neurology, and blood biomarkers. The successful candidate will function as the product owner for all tests and services within the portfolio, ensuring development and execution of product strategy, delivery of products and solutions that address customers' unmet needs, management of products across the full lifecycle, and development and deployment of strategies to promote successful market adoption.
Job Responsibilities:
Serves as the subject matter expert for relevant products and programs, the supporting ecosystem for ordering and reporting, the neurology testing market, competitive landscape, and target customers.
Owns the management of product proposals and solutions that address key market/ customer challenges, portfolio gaps, and continued product optimizations / improvements.Engages and travels with field sales representatives to understand the current selling environment, competitive products, and customer needs.Additionally, travels to relevant conferences/scientific meetings to understand emerging targets and products and gain competitive insights.
Leads development, planning and execution of multi-year product strategy based on deep customer insights and market dynamics.
Portfolio review to inform continued new product development and improvements and sunsetting activities, while working with product and customer marketers to ensure clear communication of products and services.Partner with scientific teams/ R&D, med affairs and market access to define and execute on a long-term product strategy based on customer needs and market dynamics and ensure Labcorp's growth within the neurology testing market.Utilizes standard marketing practices to complete a comprehensive business case for proposed new testing and services (including portfolio management, marketing strategy, customer segmentation and targeting, reimbursement analysis, financial modeling, risk management, value proposition development, etc.).Tracks product timelines and milestones to ensure ideal product definition and timing at commercial launch to position for successful achievement of business objectives laid out in business case.Develops robust customer requirements to ensure that development of new tests and services are aligned with customers' needs and deliver clear value.Tracks business initiatives, forecasts performance of assigned product, and advises the senior leadership about relevant strategic actions.Routinely collects and reviews key metrics, customer feedback, industry trends, competitive offerings, guidelines, and relevant journal publications.Develops programs and initiatives that improve customer experience and strengthen retention of customer base, including partnering with the digital team to improve the customer experience.Coordinate with Specialty Medicine leadership team and divisional sales management to define priorities and execute sales tactics.
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's degree required in biological sciences; advanced degree (Ph.D. or M.B.A.) preferred. Neurology experience required; Alzheimer's experience preferred.6+ years combined healthcare experience in sales, marketing, training, or other leadership roles with at least 2 years in marketing with product management.Should have deep understanding of the neurology diagnostic testing market, including relevant trends, drivers, and competitive landscape. At least 2 years of management experience with direct reports preferred.Strong analytic skills with proven ability to analyze complex business problems and conceptualize work streams with minimal supervision.Ability to negotiate and influence across functions to drive results.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.Customer Service Focus - Demonstrate a focus on listening to and understanding the client/customer needs and exceeding service and quality expectations.Drive for Results- Ensure procedures and processes are in place that lead to the delivery of quality results and routinely evaluate their effectiveness to achieve continuous improvement.Communications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to share and receive information and ideas from all levels of the organization to achieve the desired results.Teamwork - Commitment to the successful achievement of team and organizational goals through a desire to participate with and help other members of the team.
Pay Range: $140,000 to $160,000 annually plus bonus eligibility
