Amazon Shipping offers Amazon’s delivery capabilities as a product and service. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the EU, offering to ship their domestic volume using our delivery network.
Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced leader to join the Strategy & Integration team in the the EU Transport Network Topology and Systems programs space. You will be a natural self-starter who is able to translate the long term vision for Amazon Shipping into a strategic and tactical topology and config optimization plan for SWA and multiple partners across EU Operations, as well introduce standardization and automation to the Trans Network Systems space for SWA EU. This will require a true hands-on approach, solid stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication skills.

You will be part of the core team that will be building the Amazon Shipping Operations network and systems optimization strategy and implementation plan across all EU. You will help design and shape the Amazon shipping product, engaging and influencing multiple Ops stakeholders to build a shipping service provider which our customers love.
You will have a true hands-on approach, understanding of operations, solid leadership skills and the ability to build and leverage relationships across a wide range of stakeholders As this position involves regular interaction with senior leadership (Directors, VPs), you need to be comfortable communicating robustly at that level whilst also working directly with various functional teams and team members at all levels of the organization across the Amazon business.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the EU SWA Network Topology and Systems roadmap for Peak and Post-Peak topology and configuration automation/validation.
Key partner for ATS SNDI, ATS NPI, AMZL Network Control, GTS Network Engineering, GTS TNC, and SWA Product and Tech. Thought leader in the network configuration and Trans systems space. Be the advocate and influencer of the business with partner teams and stakeholder.
Improve key operational metrics by building new processes and partnerships with the Biz, Product and Ops teams.
Support the launch of Amazon Shipping in new countries and new market segments both internal and external from a config/topology perspective.
Develop structural plans and routines to ensure all strategic and tactical programs are being delivered on schedule and to the standards expected.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Experience managing teams
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
