Job Summary
The Sr Associate Business Partner strategically partners with the HR Business Partner Director in gathering appropriate information to respond to the HR needs of the Dearborn division(s) supported. The HRBP strategically partners with the business to support human capital planning and people strategies in order to achieve organizational goals. Identify opportunities in which HR can partner to support business objectives with people implications; and participate in facilitating HR / business related change and cultural transformation initiatives across assigned divisions / subdivisions.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Maintain strong knowledge of the current and future challenges and opportunities both at the organizational and department level;
2.Proactive to the business needs through directly working with the Centers of Excellence and Operations Center in gathering pertinent information required in supporting the workforce and HR strategies of the division exhibit a general knowledge of all areas of HR to include Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Workforce Relations, Talent Management, and Learning and Development.
3.Identify opportunities in which HR can partner to support business objectives with people implications;
4.Participate in facilitating HR / Business related change and cultural transformation initiatives across assigned divisions / subdivisions.
5.Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
6.Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
7.Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
8.Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree with 5 years of business experience performing an HR generalist role or similar relevant experience or 7 years of business experience performing an HR generalist role or similar relevant experience
Knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws related to employment

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree or professional HR (PHR) certification
