Labcorp is looking for an exceptional Sr Data Analyst to join the Marketing team and help augment its capability in Market and Customer Analytics to further the utility of data assets towards business insight. This role will be an integral member of a growing team that is responsible for data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies, answer business questions, and help Labcorp better serve our customers.
Located in Bangalore, India, this role will be responsible for accessing/organizing and analyzing a diverse set of data to generate insights relevant to marketing leaders, teams, and functions. We're looking for someone with the ability to mine various data sets across the company's data ecosystem, prepare, integrate, and analyze relevant data, and deliver findings through dashboards and presentations. Responsibilities
Collaborate with assigned marketing teams and business partners to understand their insight needs and translate into reporting/analysis solutionsAccess, extract and curate relevant data for analysis and reportingDetermine optimal methodology (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive) and apply necessary modeling and statistical analysis approaches/methodologies to generate data resultsGenerate insights connecting analytical results with business problems or objectives.Collaborate with data and ecosystem owners/SMEs across the organization to implement and optimize data collection tags and analytics toolsDesign and implement automated and actionable dashboards and reports
Education/Qualifications
Undergraduate degree (Bachelor's) from an accredited institution in Computer Science, SW Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, IT/IMS, Statistics or other STEM field with a strong quantitative background
Experience/Skills
4-6 years of hands-on experience in the analysis, modeling, and visualization of large, complex, and heterogeneous data setExperience or knowledge of working with large data sets/ data warehouses, including the ability to extract data from data sets using advanced scripting or SQLExperience or knowledge of Data Visualization using Tableau or similar toolsExperience or knowledge of ETL and/or data prep toolsStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on design of experiments (A/B testing)Strong communicator and experience using data to tell a storyAttention to detail and results orientedProven ability to take ownership and lead a project with minimal supervision.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong written and verbal presentation
Preferred
Experience in medical diagnostics, pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development and/or healthcareExperience with Databricks and/or PySparkExperience with Python, R, or SAS to help facilitate predictive analyticsExpertise in advanced analytics and predictive modelingExperience with data science techniques including mathematical and statistical analyses, modeling, and data visualization
