The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Executive Briefing Program (EBC) is seeking an experienced Sr. Briefing Program Manager to manage and deliver high value executive briefings to our customers in our Executive Briefing Center in Arlington, VA (HQ2). In addition to briefing management, the Sr. Briefing Program Manager will be senior team member of the Global Executive Briefing program reporting to the global EBC Leader. The Sr. Briefing Program Manager will ensure daily operations are running efficiently at the Executive Briefing Center including escalation management and vendor support.
As a Sr. Briefing Program Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of onsite executive briefings. This includes managing planning processes, timelines, stakeholder expectations & communications, executive engagement, and the successful execution of briefings. In this role you will partner with internal stakeholders to provide strategic consultation during the briefing planning process. You will work backwards from the customer's business objectives to develop bespoke briefing agendas that solve specific customer challenges and drive adoption of AWS services. You will work closely with account executives and business leaders from across AWS to regularly review key EBC metrics, identify gaps in content offerings and recommend solutions, and educate stakeholders on the value of the program.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to build partnerships. They will have excellent project management and analytical skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and deliver independently on both strategic and tactical program initiatives. The candidate should be organized, comfortable establishing processes and guidelines, collaborative, able to work autonomously with limited guidance form leadership, and able to work backwards from the customer to make complex data-driven decisions.
The position will be onsite in Arlington, VA (HQ2).
Key job responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end briefing planning process for executive briefings hosted in the Arlington, VA Executive Briefing Center
• Senior team member of the Executive Briefing program responsible for managing escalations and partnering with vendors to execute bar-raising executive briefings for senior executives
• Develop briefing agendas and facilitate experiences that connect AWS executive leaders, technical subject matter expert, and customers for strategic, 1:1 outcome-based discussions
• Create mechanisms and drive efficiencies to deliver briefings at scale
• Build key relationships to drive the successful delivery of a streamlined experience to internal stakeholders and customers
• Work with sales, marketing, and technical communities to develop enablement materials for AWS sales teams to promote program value and adoption
• Improve, and in some cases, develop standard operating procedures
• Utilize exceptional communication skills to manage leadership reviews, team meetings, and post briefing debriefs
• Identity opportunity to continually raise the bar for stakeholders by driving YoY process improvements

About the team
The AWS Executive Briefing Center (EBC) Program connects customers with AWS executives and subject matter experts for customized, collaborative discussions in a dedicated space called an Executive Briefing Center (EBC). EBCs provide high-touch, one-to-one customer engagements that directly address a customer’s business objectives, including challenges or blockers that a customer is facing and is looking to AWS to help solve. Bespoke agendas are crafted to address customer challenges via the procurement of relevant speakers (e.g., SMEs) and customized content commensurate with the level of attendees (e.g., 100-200 level for non-technical executives) and the cloud maturity of their respective companies. EBCs create new relationships with CxOs, deepen existing relationships with CxOs, address compete opportunities, and drive adoption of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
