The Global Marketing Center of Excellence is a core group of Marketing in Labcorp, based out of India.
It represents all major functions in marketing:
multiple capabilities across functions: Market research, insights and analytics, Content - medical writers, creative designers, Digital marketing and customer marketers, Digital and marketing technology - Marketing automation, web development, QA, testing and program management, Communications - social media & writers.
The team of 60+ members interfaces with global stakeholders, including daily interaction with the HQ in United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the Sr. Director of Marketing and his team are supported in organizing and executing strategic and tactical goals timely and professionally with colleagues around the world.
- To be the sole owner of Outlook Calendar for the Sr. Director
- Accountable for setting up 1:1 meetings with direct reports and monthly leadership meetings, Including all IT and conferencing arrangements
- Arrange leadership site visits, off site meetings and conferences (internal and external)
- Making travel arrangements for leaders in US visiting India and for the leaders in India travelling domestically and internationally
- Provide material and support for business meetings. Owner of agendas, minutes and action logs
- Maintain work related trackers, rosters, and budget files
- Submitting Purchase Orders and invoices for the team, Creating and maintaining PO tracker
- Working independently, the incumbent successfully executes assignments that involve many stakeholders (internally and externally).
- Set up connects & meetings with external partners / agencies.
- Independent thinking, initiative and autonomy are required in order to develop recommendations, solve problems and complete assignments.
- May be called upon to complete special projects, organize events and manage multiple tasks simultaneously all with a focus on high-quality outcomes.
- Works with highly confidential information on a regular basis and is required to hold that information in the strictest confidence at all times.
- Leverage best practices and various Microsoft office products and technology to bring efficiencies to the team. (Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Should be strong at re-prioritizing work quickly, and working with others to accomplish critical initiatives.
- International travel management and virtual meeting set-up and management is critical.
- Will interact often with business unit leadership teams, corporate partner teams (Finance, IT, Legal, Commercial, HR, Sales & Marketing), and their administrative support.
Qualifications Required:
- Demonstrable experience as an Executive Assistant (minimum of 5 years) with significant administrative or related experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in communicating with senior executives on a daily basis
- Have or build in depth knowledge of company operations, policies and procedures.
- High proficiency with enabling technology including with MS Office (all products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and ability / willingness to learn new applications.
- Handle confidential information, maintain the highest ethical standards and trustworthiness, exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.
- Superior prioritization, organization, and time management skills with the ability to manage competing demands. Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to independently and efficiently manage one's time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to navigate effectively in a team-based corporate environment; coordinate activities among departments and external parties.
- Able to utilize critical thinking skills to independently analyze problems, determine approach, identify potential solutions and implement as appropriate.
- Excellent oral/written communication with team members, external clients and management.
- Able to understand internal and external customers' requirements and expectations and provide consistently outstanding customer service.
- Educational qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma
- The job requires presence on-site in Bangalore and working from office a minimum of 2 days in a week.
- Work hours: work flexibly between 9 30 AM to 8 PM.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Experience in Lifesciences / Healthcare industry is a plus
- Communication skills in Kannada and / or prior experience in Karnataka region will be preferred
- Experience in finance systems: Oracle Peoplesoft
