As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Key responsibilities
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Complete other projects as required
Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Requirements - Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
Experience with ERP systems
Outstanding analytical, quantitative and social skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Skills in financial reporting is crucial to this role
Account Balance experience preferred
Month end closings experience
Account reconciliation experience
Proficiency in account analysis
Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel
Proven knowledge of Monthly Reporting
Knowledge of month end closings
5+ years of overall general accounting experience
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
Strong time management and organizational skills
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
