  Job Description:

  The Role

  As Squad Leader, you blend your passion for product management and investment management to focus on delivering value for our Strategic Advisors and cross company partners. As the lead you are the end-to-end gatekeeper of the Squad's culture, strategy, and execution. In an agile structure, you will partner with other team members and leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions, roadmaps, and resource requirements; set and refine the quarterly and annual missions; and bring together the team of Squad members to execute on specific product deliverables. Through ongoing organization, planning, and prioritization of the product backlog, you will ensure stakeholder alignment on the "why" and the "what" to help drive "when" work is to be performed. You will enable Squad members to work iteratively, follow standard processes, innovate through testing and experimentation, and learn from failures while celebrating success. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.

  The Skills and Expertise You Bring

  Bachelor's degree (or above) in technology related field6+ years of experience in business/systems analysis, product owner, and/or product management with experience in a product manager/Squad Lead type capacity a plusExceptional communication, organization and planning, and presentation skillsProven experience designing, developing, and maintaining large, complex products and solutionsInvestment management knowledge and experience vital, quantitative and portfolio construction methodologies experience a plusCommitted to developing a balance of business domain and technical knowledge to understand and develop solutions for the vision, needs, and challenges of our customers, products, and platformAbility to develop, maintain, and communicate roadmap, backlog, and plans for development, delivery, and support of assigned products and initiativesAbility to establish and maintain unquestioning relationships as you work across business, technology, internal, and external partners to handle partner expectations, deliver outcomes, and continuously ensure alignment on all frontsExcel in articulating the key user and customer benefits of investment models and model management capabilities, functions, and features as they contribute to the success of managed accounts and advisor businessesTaking a data-focused approach and regularly seeking out the expertise of colleagues to understand customer requirements, propose solutions, and measure resultsAbility to define, evaluate, and communicate product and delivery results against goals and acceptance criteriaAbility to facilitate prioritization and trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between strategic and tactical solutions and their respective value, return on investment, opportunity costs, total cost of ownership, resource needs, and delivery timeframesAbility to translate strategic objectives into consumable, actionable plans, and prioritize/sequence the work to increase the rate at which value is deliveredAbility to grasp sophisticated product features and translate them into clear and concise artifacts to build common understandingDerive epics and end-to-end workflows that can be broken down into stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteriaExperience with building highly engaged, empowered, and hard-working teams that leverage proven frameworks to achieve delivery excellence, exceptional quality, and effective impediment, risk, and issue remediationAbility to collaborate and coordinate with Chapter Leaders, Scrum Masters, Squad members, and other Squad Leaders to build Squad capacity and capability, enable Squad member learning and development, and effectively execute on cross-organizational initiativesAbility to understand, anticipate, and discover through ongoing interaction with our customers to serve as their voice and guide execution of the teamCapable of running fusions for estimating and planning large efforts that articulate the project demands, assumptions, schedule, and risks, and help inform Product Area roadmap and capacity needsCapable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues on solutions, best practices, and tools without formal authorityAbility to act as the day-to-day player/coach for the analyst team members on partner engagement, standard processes, opportunities for professional development, and provide input regarding their performance feedbackBring an innovative, intellectually curious, and a team player attitude to assess and continuously improve our culture, process, and tools, to deliver more effective and efficient results for our organizationProvide candid feedback and a solutions-oriented approach to help identify and address organizational and product risks, issues, and challengesExperience removing organizational impediments and demonstrating effective production support practices to help ensure high customer satisfaction and production stabilityExperience working in Agile environment, Jira, and Jira Align

  You work in partnership with the Model Management business stakeholders, Squad team members, Product Area Leader, peer Squad Leaders, Scrum Masters, Architects, and Chapter Leaders aligned to your Squad.
