The Specialist II, AP Vendor Setup, performs AP functions to ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of vendor invoices in alignment with DaVita policies and procedures. The position is responsible for ensuring department goals are met timely and in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core Values. The Specialist II performs the duties of a level I teammate, with a higher accuracy rate and a larger and/or more complex workload.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONVendor maintenance (setup, update, research)Reviewing requests to determine both tax classification and tax reporting requirementsConfirming EIN/SSN using IRS TIN Matching programReviewing OIG/SAM sites for possible excluded vendorsValidating address for accuracy using USPS siteUtilize a loader template for mass update to vendor recordsAssist with the cleanup of vendor records or other related projectsResearch vendor records, verifying vendor informationReviewing requests to determine both tax classification and tax reporting requirementsReview wire payments for tax reporting requirementsAssist with the issuance of 1099-MISC forms to vendors, file with the IRS and make correctionsCorresponding with vendors and field on Referral Source Determination and W-9 requests, including the removal of vendor holdsACH verification and payment method setupAnswering questions from and/or assisting the teamMakes corrections resulting from weekly auditsQUALIFICATIONS
2 - 4 years of experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentTyping /10 key by touchBasic computer and Microsoft Office skillsWorking knowledge of OracleClear written and verbal communication skillsCritical thinking and problem solving skillsDetail oriented with high accuracyFor IRS TIN Matching, proof of existing credit history limited to one of the below:
• Credit Card (cannot be American Express or a debit card)

Salary/ Wage Range
$15.34 - $22.55 / hour
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
