Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to support integration for a satellite payload. Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions to complex problems across the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields.
In anticipation of award for the Space Development Agency's (SDA) National Defense Space Architecture Tranche 2 Tracking Layer program, Dynetics is seeking to fill multiple positions for Systems Engineering. The T2 Tracking Layer effort will provide the capability to provide global, persistent indications, detection, warning, tracking, and identification of advanced missile threats, including hypersonic missile systems using a digital engineering environment. The T2 Tracking Layer scope is for an infrared (IR) mission payload for up to 27 space vehicles (SVs), as Dynetics is a leading provider of missile warning/missile tracking technology with awards on SDA Tranche 0 and Tranche 1 for critical IR mission payloads.
Primary Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for supporting Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) activities for space vehicles and space-related systems within a digital engineering environment. Primary responsibilities will include supporting requirements and verification management, integration and interface activities, performance of trade studies, documentation of test plans and procedures, and test execution at local test sites.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution with 2+ years or Master's degree with less than 2 years applicable experience with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.Familiarity with CAMEO Systems ModelerMust have experience with 1 or more of the following areas: Requirements Management, Activity or Sequence Diagrams, Interface Diagrams, Producing Document from CAMEO, Risk Identification and Mitigation, Supplier Management, Millstone Reviews/Meeting SupportAbility to work well with cross-functional teams, design engineers, analysts, manufacturing, project management, and customer and/or supplier representatives
Preferred Qualifications
A current DOD Secret clearanceExperience with production effortsExperience with flight readiness or space flight system development on Military, Government, or Commercial space-related programsExperience with Confluence and JiraExperience with electronic components or software development
Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
