The Defense Systems Group (DSG) serves as the technical and programmatic advisor to the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) for acquiring, developing, and fielding capabilities for the United States Space Command and joint warfighter, as well as to maintain America's comprehensive military advantage in space.
As the Next Generation OPIR Space Vehicle Integration Engineer and Integrator lead, you will partner with the government to ensure mission success of the Space Force to develop, acquire and deploy Next generation Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) space assets that defend against, defeat, and deter adversary behavior in space. Your primary responsibilities will be to work with project leaders and provide direction and oversight of the development, integration, and testing of the key NG OPIR Polar Interface/Integration points of the program (example: Crypto to Space Vehicle, Hosted Payloads, Test Campaign). You will be a critical resource in the discovery and implementation acceleration of assets to orbit.
