About the Role
You will be responsible for driving revenue by developing and executing a strategic sales plan. Developing and executing digital transformation strategies with our customers. Focusing on helping our customers deliver the associated ambitions and challenges within the corporate R&D value chain. Concentrating on one of our key markets, Engineering & Technology (North American Chemical companies and Material Science.)
Responsibilities
Generating revenue by delivering sales based on our market leading data and analytics solutions portfolio.
Upselling to applied analytics and achieving the cross-sell of products. Bringing additional value to meet our customer's objectives.
Focusing on Corporate R&D accounts in the Engineering & Technology market, North America.
Leveraging your exceptional networking skills to navigate through complex company organization structures.
Building strategic relationships with research leaders, department heads of data science and digital transformation.
Working effectively and collaboratively across our matrixed organization. Ensuring you make the most of the considerable resources at your disposal.
Bringing market insights back into the business to ensure our products and services remain compelling.
Capturing and effectively articulating the emerging challenges and opportunities from our customers digital transformation programs.
Requirements
Have previous B2B sales experience with proven track record. (Science background valued.)
Able to manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
Able to travel up to 40% based on business needs in the assigned territory.
Display an understanding of strategic and consultative selling principles.
Able to develop long term relationships with relevant personas and key stakeholders up to C suite level. Including networking skills to navigate through complex company structures.
Able to negotiate, close sales, management pipeline, lead generation, coach and develop associates in a complex culture.
Display excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and present. Adapting to audiences to communicate complex solutions in formal and informal settings.
Have knowledge of digital transformation paradigm with emphasis on the life sciences domain.

Salary Range

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for NYC.$76,200.00 - $126,900.00
