About Software Operations Business Analyst

  We are looking for an innovative and creative Software Operations Business Analyst to support various software and support service product usage-based models. This individual will conduct independent analysis and work with internal teams to identify root cause for customer’s billing inquiries and disputes.

  What you'll be doing:

  Ability for primary interface to independently research usage billing issue for various software and support service usage-based models

  Provide requirements to engineering to build support dashboard to assist customer usage inquiries effectively and timely

  Collaborate with internal teams to understand product telemetry requirements, metrics, and pricing for each product for customer usage bill

  Ability to coordinate across functional teams to resolve customer’s billing inquiries.

  Collaborate engineering and finance to identify root cause and issue credits

  Present and explain to customers the billing details based on supporting telemetry data

  Proactively track telemetry on customer usage to ensure accurate billing based on such usage or consumption

  Collaborate with subject matter expert (SME) and functional teams for new software and support service usage-based model monetization and operationalization.

  What we need to see:

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred. Finance or Business IT background is a plus

  2+ years of proven experience, including 2 years software and support service operation experience

  Metronome, SAP, and Salesforce experience is a plus

  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

  Background in software and support service usage-based models focused on billing support role(or equivalent experience)

  Experience with telemetry data for troubleshooting billing issues, understanding customer usage, behavior, and system performance

  Experience with product offer on hyperscale cloud provider marketplaces

  Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Ability to do in-depth research for management summaries

  Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment

  Ability to be proactive, get things done, highly motivated and willing to work flexible schedule to meet business needs.

  High level of ownership, accountability, seek new initiative. Effective collaboration and communication, both written and oral, skills

  The base salary range is 84,000 USD - 166,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
