  Position Description

  Be part of a dynamic team leading the Client's transition from a legacy system to a new and innovative way of accomplishing complex task, with dynamic technology and state of the art approaches to meeting ever-changing needs. Your skills can make you a part of the future of innovation within Intelligence Community

  This position will require close collaboration with Client technical personnel and associate contractors, to successfully transition from the legacy system. As part of the transition, feature refinement and development may be required.

  Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Analyzing the needs of users

  • Designing and developing solutions using the software development cycle

  • Testing software solutions

  • Documenting software programs with flowcharts, layouts, charts, diagrams and other documentation

  • Learning about developments in the field to stay on top of the latest advancements

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications

  • Collaborate with other engineers to create innovative solutions that meet customer needs

  • Develop code in accordance with coding standards and best practices

  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on proposed designs

  • Troubleshoot and debug existing applications

  • Create unit tests and integration tests to ensure quality of the codebase

  • Monitor application performance and optimize as needed

  • Research new technologies and tools to improve development processes

  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation related to software engineering

  Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  Required skills to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2-5 years software development experience

  • Demonstrated technical skills working in a collaborative environment

  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliverables

  • The ability of maintain a TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly security clearance

  Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Palantir or Analyst Notebook desired

  CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106,260.00 to$235,290.00
