Job Summary
Work as a member of the Security Engineering Team on projects involving design and development of features related to Security, Zero Trust, Authentication, Key Management, IPSEC and related items in Storage domain
• Collaborate with team members on designing and implementing software with a focus on simplicity, reliability, and manageability using C/C++
• Participate in product design, development, verification, troubleshooting, and delivery of a system or major subsystems, including authoring project specifications
• Write unit and automated integration tests
• Develop maintainable, efficient, and reliable software
• Participate in customer escalations
• Conduct and participate in technical discussions within the team as well as with other groups across Business Units in the company
Job Requirements
• Object-oriented systems programming using C/C++
• Experience working with networking, end-to-end encryption (such as IPsec), role based access control, distributed systems, client-server programming, multi-threaded applications, and operating systems such as FreeBSD, Linux
• Strong grasp of computer architecture, data structures, algorithms, and standard programming practices
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work collaboratively within and outside the team of other engineers and Sr leaders
• Ability to drive design and implementation of project features
• Demonstrated creative and systematic approach to problem solving
• Requires limited supervision and direction, as this individual can operate, drive results
• Successfully convey information to stakeholders at many levels related to the position.
Education
BE/BTech Equivalent or Masters in CS/EE
Experience: 4 to 8 years of software development experience is required
