A role you will love
This role sits within the Global Site Support department under Computershare Technology Services. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents, including operating systems across a range of software applications.
The most important element of this role is achieving the highest level of customer service, we want our colleagues to have a great experience when they deal with us. Here we have such a large userbase, so your support is paramount in achieving this!
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Taking ownership of issues, carrying out problem analysis and implement fixes to restore service to customers as quickly as we can.Installing and configuring new IT equipment for new starters.Look at incidents, performing trend analysis, and looking at solutions to reduce these.Building laptops/desktops and thin clients for VDI access.Hands on experience on endpoints.Supporting other Offices within UK and Ireland.
This role is an office-based position, the successful candidate will work in the office Monday to Friday. We are a very accommodating team who are open to flexible working patterns to ensure a happy unit!
What will you bring to the role?
If you love fixing things and supporting people, then we want to hear from you. If you get a real sense of satisfaction for helping others, then you could be the person for us.
Ideally you will have experience of working in a similar role, where possible or have taken initiative to achieve technical training off your own back. We would like you to have proven hands-on experience of 1st and ideally 2nd line support, along with some experience of building machines. However, we are also flexible to support the correct candidate looking to make that 1st step in the IT world with overflowing enthusiasm and get up 'n' go attitude.

Ability to build strong and trusting relationships with users and stakeholders across the business.Solid experience with WindowsStrong troubleshooting experienceIT Hardware and peripheralsSolid understanding of ITIL v3/v4
