About the Role
Cragganmore Distillery, nestled in the heart of Speyside, Scotland, is a historic and esteemed whisky producer known for its exceptional single malt Scotch We are currently seeking a Distillery Manager to join our dedicated team, preserving the traditions and high standards that have defined Cragganmore for over a century. This role offers a unique opportunity for a passionate and skilled individual to contribute to the legacy of this iconic distillery.
As a Site Operations Manager (SOM) at Cragganmore Distillery, your role is pivotal in leading the teams responsible for manufacturing high-quality malt whisky. You'll need to set a clear vision, ensure effective team communication, and delegate tasks to achieve our goals. Proactive leadership of multifunctional workgroups for ambitious capital expenditure plans is also a key aspect of your role.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure all site operations align with our demanding performance goals, covering Safety, Compliance, Environmental, Quality, Service, and Cost metrics. Health, safety, and compliance are paramount, and you will play a central role in supervising these aspects, as well as other Key Performance Indicators and targets

You will be a true leader and role model! With a background in people, operations and production management in a high-quality process industry with demanding production, efficiency and financial targets.
You'll ensure teams are encouraged and have everything they need to focus on World Class practices and support them through this.

The role will require strategically planning and building continuous improvement plans and taking the site and teams through organisational change in order to achieve each of the sites production targets and deliver the agreed financial budget for all sites.
To be a role model in terms of safety leadership, will demonstrate a high level of ownership for asset care implementation and will be determined to play a lead role in the Cragganmore Distillery’s contribution to the delivery of Diageo’s Society 2030 ambitions including supporting the global sustainability agenda among other vital goals.
