The Walmart and Club Shopper Insights team is looking for an experienced, strategic and passionate professional who can connect the dots to reveal new insights and elevate Unilever and Walmart growth. This is an exciting opportunity to drive engagement and growth with this priority customer across Unilever flagship brands. In this role you will represent the voice of the shopper through expertise in shopper analytics, consumer and category knowledge, syndicated resources, and custom research to drive business action.
As an Insights Manager, you will be the expert on the Walmart shopper and provide best-in-class insights grounded in understanding omnichannel shopper behavior and decisions.
Who You Are & What You'll Do
Insights leadership: Provide fact-based, strategic, shopper-centric points of view to inspire deeper shopper understanding. Communicate the voice of the shopper including attitudes, behaviors, motivations, barriers and pain points. Must be able to connect the dots to build integrated, inspiring and insightful category growth stories to inform business decisions. Offer foresight rather than just insight, helping to shape the future through strategic thought leadership. Shopper Analytics & Data proficiency : Be adept at analyzing and utilizing sales, panel/shopper, and social media data to understand the foundational performance and health of the business and be inquisitive to proactively identify business opportunities, help solve current problems and inform solutions. Research acumen: Demonstrate research expertise by developing effective, efficient learning plans and selecting fit for purpose methodologies. Interpret and synthesize information across data/analytics platforms, primary and secondary research, trends, social media data, e-commerce and existing learning. Strategic consultant: Demonstrate holistic thinking, strategic agility and thought leadership with all levels of stakeholders. Develop strong collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to proactively identify business challenges and opportunities. Identify foundational and customer-specific knowledge gaps and create and lead a research agenda to deliver actionable insights.What You'll Need To SucceedMinimum 5+ years total experience; primary research experience in CPG, retail, or Customer Development space.Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.Proficiency in syndicated data tools and measures to elevate business understanding and guide conversations using a variety of data sources (POS, panel, social listening, etc.).Proficiency in fundamental quantitative and qualitative primary research methodologies and analytic approaches; ability to match appropriate methodologies to business needs and insights questions. Experience and expertise in core market research principles - sample design, data collection and analysis techniques, appropriate action standards.Must be able to extract and interpret data and research output, discriminating meaningful differences and learning.Ability to mine cultural, socioeconomic, and category trends for strategic opportunity areas.Persuasive storytelling skills and experience with weaving insights from multiple data sources into a cohesive and compelling narrative.Develop an objective point of view and feel comfortable sharing it, be seen as a strategic thought leader on the team.Manage external suppliers to execute research projects efficiently.Superior skills in project management, end-to-end management of the research process.What We Can Offer You

Pay: The pay range for this position is $96,000 to $143,900. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
