About SharePoint Admin

  Description

  Leidos is currently seeking a SharePoint Admin in support of the AFINC II contract for the highly visible 26th Network Operations Squadron (26 NOS) at Montgomery, Alabama, which provides a world-wide support mission. The 26 NOS is responsible for the intranet support of the entire Air Force network. The mission of the 26 NOS is to operate and defend the Air Force (AF) Enterprise computer network consisting of the AF Wide Area Network (WAN) routers, AF Network Increment 1 (AFNET Inc 1) Gateways, and the 26 NOS Local Area Network (LAN) assets.

  Primary Responsibilities

  Serve as SharePoint junior or mid-level systems administrator working within a Systems Administration team managing SharePoint sites and servers operating in a 24x7 multi-enterprise networks environment

  Oversees activity pertaining to the SharePoint maintenance, technical support and policies enforcement

  Administrate sites/subsites, libraries, site collections, backend designs and Active Directory knowledge

  Manages and revise of sites layouts and customizes SharePoint sites for team and leadership purposes

  Create and maintain SharePoint Workflows in SharePoint Designer

  Manage, open, and remediate tickets (incident, problem, change, service requests, etc.) in accordance with 26 NOS policies and any Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This encompasses any ticketing system used to record tickets utilized by 26 NOS personnel in support of mission requirements

  Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve software or network issues

  Support all physical/virtual servers platform hardware procurement, setup, monitoring, backup, troubleshooting and Windows server operating system administration

  Plan, research, patch SharePoint application components in conjunction with Windows Server OS on a monthly basis to ensure security integrity and compliance

  Perform systems operations, monitor systems activities and ensure smooth daily operation of systems

  Maintain, update, develop and sustain technical documents, analyses, and reports

  Provide technical support in all customer interaction situations, including receipt of specifications, design, test, and response to service requests

  Perform root cause analysis, recommend, and implement tactical and strategic solutions to problems

  Familiarity to utilize 26 NOS standard tools such as PuTTY, PowerShell, NotePad++, OneNote, Splunk Enterprise, SolarWinds Orion, etc. to optimize and automate system administrator tasks

  Ability to utilize remote access out-of-band management tools such as integrated Dell Remote Access (iDRAC), integrated Lights-Out (iLO or KVM technologies

  Ability to support 3rdparty applications such as Veritas NetBackup, McAfee Endpoint Security System (ESS), Microsoft SQL server or IIS8, IIS10 web servers/sites

  Familiarity with general networking topics such as SSL, proxy, routing protocols, firewall rules, and ability to support/interact F5 load balancing local traffic management using virtual IPs

  Ideal candidate is familiar or proficient in the use of O365, SharePoint online, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Servers, Windows SQL server, Web IIS server and SharePoint Designer

  Ability to maintain valid system certificates, web application certificates and/or two-factor authentication (2FA) within a smart card environment

  Ability or experience in evaluating scan report data from Tenable Nessus; participate in the audit, review and response phases of the Vulnerability Management (VM) life cycle

  Candidate able to install and patch operating systems, applications, and document Department Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) checklists applicable to each Non-classified or Secret Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet, SIPRNet)

  Ensure networks receive periodic updates from AFCYBER-released software patches, updates, and upgrades via Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNO), Maintenance Tasking Order (MTO) and Notices to Airman (NOTAMs)

  Assist AF Cyber personnel with the DISA Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) programs, cybersecurity toolsets, and Operation Order (OPORD)/Fragmentary Order (FRAGO) support

  Communicate, manage expectations, eliminate gaps and successfully interact with multiple external and internal 26thNOS team leads, admins, analysts, users, customers, system owners and management

  Candidate will report to the 26thNOS Systems Administration (SA) team leadership

  Basic Qualifications

  Candidate should have 2-5 years of IT related systems deployment, operation, and support experience

  Candidate must have a minimum of 3+ years of Windows based experience and preferably experience interacting with 3rdparty web applications especially web-client based server systems

  Prefer Windows implementation or administration in a large-scale environment preferably overseeing daily, weekly, monthly functions and best practices; SharePoint Power User or support experience a plus

  Possesses ability to think creatively to devise customizations and uses for SharePoint

  Ability or skills with ASP.Net, Javascript, Visual Studio, XML,C#

  Preferred in-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013+, SharePoint Designer, Access, Office or O365; any experience migrating SharePoint application to newer versions

  Familiarity of defense-in-depth principles, network/hardware/software security architecture, network topology, IT device integrity, and common security elements

  Cybersecurity and privacy principles used to manage risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of data and information

  Support day-to-day technical communication systems, alerts and incident tickets in support of operations

  Prefer candidate with 2+ years of years of hands-on experience in SharePoint or Web server/site support with experience in mid-to-large data center environments and patch/update management

  Demonstrated advanced diagnostics, analytical, troubleshooting skills

  Preferred system hardening experience

  Preferred experience with physical servers and in virtualized environments such as VMware vSphere’s vCenter Server Appliance, ESXi hosts, virtual machines (VMs)

  Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or MIS related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant professional IT experience is acceptable.

  CompTIA Security+ ce (continuing education) or(ISC)² CISSP

  Minimum one or more of the following technical certifications:

  Microsoft based certification: Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals; Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals ; Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate ; Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate ; Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate

  Secret government security clearance required.

  Pay Range:

  Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00

  The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
